Language and Culture Tours
To learn a new language, it helps to fall in love with where it’s from.
Our language and culture tours give students the chance to explore the landscapes, landmarks, and languages they’ve learned about in the classroom. They’ll also discover new ways of experiencing the world—from speaking with locals during dinner at their home to developing the confidence to order coffee in another language.
What to expect on a language tour
-
Language lessons
Every day students learn and practice vocabulary relevant to the daily theme during an accredited lesson led by a local Language Instructor.
-
Cultural activities
Learning how to paint like Picasso, prepare French cuisine or dance flamenco adds authentic cultural richness to their language development.
-
Interactions with locals
By conversing with locals on a scavenger hunt, during a soccer match or over a home-cooked meal, students put their new skills to use.
