Vimy 2027: Paris & the Vimy Region
France was nearly ruined after the First World War. The country’s economy, manpower, and agricultural land were mostly destroyed. Then, a mere 21 years later, the Allies declared war on Nazi Germany. Take a deep dive into the complex history of France during the World Wars and the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Walk the same streets in Paris that were occupied by German forces and fought for by the French resistance. Follow the rows of grave markers in the Essex Farm Cemetery. Then, your journey culminates at Vimy Ridge, where you’ll see the towering memorial—a tribute to 3,598 fallen Canadians.
Set departure date: April 7, 2027. Space is limited.
