Vimy 105: Central Europe & the Holocaust
The Holocaust era started in 1933, when Adolph Hitler was named Chancellor of Germany. Over the next 12 years, the persecution of the Jewish people would eventually lead to the murder of 6 million European Jews. Learn more about the complicated history of the World Wars in Paris and Amsterdam, then confront the atrocities committed in German-occupied Poland during a sombre visit to the Warsaw Ghetto and Auschwitz concentration camp. Take some time to discuss the impact this tragedy continues to have on the world today.
