Today, depart for an optional half-day excursion that includes a cruise through the Bosphorus Straits, the waterway that separates Europe and Asia. Begin your adventure with a visit to a traditional spice market and the Rustem Pasha Mosque. This small mosque was built by the great Ottoman architect, Mimar Sinan, and is famous for the tomato-red colour of its exquisite floral and geometric Iznik tiles. Next, board your boat for a leisurely, two-hour cruise through the Bosphorus Straits. You’ll disembark for a seafood lunch (included). Later, you’ll return to the city by coach bus, arriving mid-afternoon.
