Lima and the Amazon
From March 16–24, experience Peru through the lens of global citizenship and modern innovation. You’ll explore the impact of industrialization on the Amazon rainforest and learn about fishing practices in Lima’s seaside villages. Extend your tour until March 27 to discover the importance of preserving ancient wonders on a visit to Machu Picchu, and at the Seminario Ceramics workshop, learn how local artisans incorporate historic ceramic techniques into art for today’s modern world.
Summit Leadership Conference:
Join other teachers and students for a two-day leadership conference, March 18–19. Hear from world-renowned speakers, attend expert-led workshops and gain valuable insight into global citizenship in our increasingly interconnected world.
Using Design Thinking—a creative problem-solving technique used by companies like Apple and Google—international teams of students will create and present solutions to a human rights challenge.
